Agyness Deyn

Agyness is an incredibly polite, attentive meek person in spite of her often fierce appearance. The model, actress and singer is second of three children. Her mother's friend, a numerology expert,  advised her to change her name to be lucky. Later her mother and sister changed their surnames to Deyn as well.

She was a part-time server at the age of 13 at a fish and chip shop. By 17 she had already had her head shaved.

She won the Rossendale Free Press "Face of '99" competition, aged just 16. Then she moved to London, working in a fast-food restaurant during the day and a bar at night but admits: "It didn’t quite work." She was spotted by Henry Holland fashion designer while shopping.

She had her first major acting role in the 2010 film Clash of the Titans alongside Liam Neeson.
