Esti grew up in the affluent neighbourhood of Tzahala in Tel Aviv with her sister Yael and her parents. Her mother, Adrian is an American Jewish gerontologist and her father Arieh  is an architect from a family of Ashkenazi Jewish (Polish-Jewish and Belarusian-Jewish) descent. Her paternal grandfather was involved in the original planning and construction of Tel Aviv. Her maternal grandmother was a cousin of the American photojournalist Paul Schutzer.

She started modeling when she was eight, booking a milk advertisement. Later she has modeled for various fashion labels such as Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, FCUK, Castro, Pull and Bear, etc. She has also been seen in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues in 2009, 2010, and 2011.

She was drafted into the army (IDF) in 2009,  while speaking in support of enlisting, caused headlines by criticizing fellow Israeli model Bar Rafaeli for avoiding military service via a short-lived marriage to a family friend.

"Military service is part of the things I personally believe in."

Esti made her acting debut in the 2010 Joel Schumacher film Twelve, but played in Movie 43 (2013) and Mo'adon Layla (2006) as well.

Esti has always preferred little older men, so  she married the 18 year older real estate investor Adi Keizman in 2012. They have two children.
