The actress, model and musician was emigrated with her parents to London, soon after to California when she was 5. Her father was a Serbian doctor and her mother, Galina, was a Russian actress.

Some sources says she was the highest-paid model in the world in 2004. She was married to Shawn Andrews and later Luc Besson. Her most famous movies are:  Return to the Blue Lagoon, The Fifth Element, The Resident Evil films, The Story of Joan of Arc, Dazed and Confused but she could be seen in Married... with Children and other series.
