Kemp Muhl is a model, musician, singer. The self-described “serious tomboy” began modeling at 12 after she was discovered by a scout at a poetry reading contest in Atlanta. She has appeared in several music videos, like "Just Feel Better" by Carlos Santana, and tried herself as actress as well. You could see her in The Dead Don't Die (2019) and Zombeavers (2014).

She speaks Japanese. When she was young invented a new language with her best friend which even had its own grammar.

Kemp loves the smell of old books, grass after it rains, and cigars, but hates the smell of new cars and coffee breath.

She never wears trousers or shorts, always dresses, lipstick and perfume.

She thinks herself a messy girl.

Her favourite fictional characters are Roger rabbit, Pocahontas and also all characters from Greek myths and original Star Wars.

She has been in a relationship with Sean Lennon since 2006. They formed the band The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger  which is  a 60's-inspired psychedelic rock band. They were inspired by Ziggy Stardust, T Rex, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Beastie Boys and The Kinks. Kemp grew up on classical music- Beethoven, Liszt, Mozart but later she "rebelled"... with Marilyn Manson and System of a Down!

Kemp also sits in occasionally as a bassist for her boyfriend’s mother, Yoko Ono.

Interview for contributor magazine - details

What do you appreciate the most in your friends?

– Flamboyant eccentricity, beauty, wit and wisdom. But I hate political correctness.

- I always cut my own hair, so every haircut looks like a blind cavemen did it.

What is your idea of ecstasy?

– Sex on fresh egyptian cotton sheets. Cold watermelon in summer. Minor chords. Purple lipstick, finding dead insects. The Science Times in Tuesday’s newspaper.

About her by Sophie Caby:

"She is the kind of girl that happens once every 10 years and who opens her heart as sincerely as she opens her blouse. Not only her apparent beauty is disarming, her brain functions.... Smart is a pitiful word to describe the level."
