Ana Beatrize Barros

Ana Beatriz was born to Sônia, a housewife, and Reinato Barros, a mechanical engineer. She is of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese descent. Ana has two sisters. The older one, Patricia, is a modell and actress. They were discovered together while vacationing in Rio de Janeiro by an Elite Model Management agent. Her younger sister Malu (Maria Luisa), a dermatologist.

She is famous for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and for her work with Intimissimi, Guess?, bebe, Victoria's Secret, Chanel cosmetics, and Jennifer Lopez's JLO fashion line.

She is taller with her 180 cm than most of the models.

Alessandra Ambrosio is one of her best friends since the beginning of their career (teenage years).

Ana likes going to the beach, visiting museums and riding a bike and her guilty pleasure is eating chocolate ice cream.

If she were not a model, she would have liked to be a veterinarian.

"Hanging out with friends and family in São Paulo is the greatest luxury in my life" - says the model.

She was dating with actor James Rousseau and Helly Nahmad art dealer and collector but by the end married to Egyptian businessman Karim El Chiaty in 2016 and they have a son.
