Aya Jones

Aya Jones was born from Ivorian father and French mother, Béatrice who was a physical therapist. She grew up in the 11th district of Paris where her family owns a restaurant where her father cooks the cuisine of his homeland, the Ivory Coast.

She has a two years old brother. Growing up, she practiced ballet, modern jazz, and hip-hop.

Aya was planning to study nursing when was discovered by an agent who stopped her on the street.

As of 2017, she is one of the "top 50" working models according to Models.com.

The same year she had a Jet Ski accident, while beeing on vacation in Thailand, that almost took her life. She punctured her lung and stomach and fractured her arm, pelvis, leg, and cranium. She needed several operations after the action and got metal rods in her arm and leg.

She was considered to be a shy, modest, and reserved girl but later she loved the thrill of risky sports—Jet Ski, zip-line, all-terrain vehicles but after the accident she is more cautious.

Imaan Hammam is one of her best friends. Both girls like hip-hop, rhythm, blues music and, especially, contemporary African music. They are both big fans of the Nigerian singer/songwriter Wizkid.
