Bette Franke

She has two younger brothers and one sister. Bette was discovered by model scout Wilma Wakker while shopping in Amsterdam with her mother. She was just 14 years old but soon debuted during the Milan runway.

She is famous for her extremely beautiful skin. Bette says she never does anything for her skin, just doesn't smoke and avoids sugar. Moreover she never puts on make-up or creams. 

She loves biking and playing tennis but can't imagine herself in a gym. 

"... go to the gym in a crop top and show off your muscles where everyone's just looking at each other." 

In 2013 one of her photos was used as evidence for an article that was against fashion industry for occupying mainly painfully thin models.

She is married to economics and education researcher Ilja Cornelisz.
