Bianca started modeling in university, where she was studying graphic design and web.

Bianca is known for being one of the faces of Dolce & Gabbana and L’Oreal. She has also appeared in campaigns with Hermes, Donna Karan, Dior and many others. In 2011, she was one of the faces photographed by famed photographer Karl Lagerfeld for the Pirelli Calendar. She also appeared in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2005 and in their catalogs.

Balti was cast in Abel Ferrara's movie Go Go Tales (2008) as one of the erotic dancers. She replaced Angelina Jolie as one of the faces of the fall St. John campaign.

She is one of the three best-paid models in Italy and was referred to by Playboy as “The world’s hottest Italian supermodel”.

At age 32 she appeared in Sports Illustrated Issue.

She has 4 tattoos. The M on her left ring finger stands for “mama”, her husband (Matthew), and her daughters’ names.

She was married to Christian Lucidi from 2006 to 2009. In 2017 she married Matthew McRae. She has two daughters, Mathilde and Mia.
