Frida Gustavsson

The model grew has two brothers, Erik and Johan. In her childhood Frida was a promising track and field athlete. She used to train five times a week and won several championships.

At the age of seven and she registered in a competition and scooped all the awards. 

“Until that day, I had never thought of myself as excellent in anything. That is a common problem when you grow up with only brothers.” 

When she was 14, she broke her leg (femur) and both arms. However working as a model she still likes sport, especially running.

She started her modelling career in 2008 when she moved to Japan but she a photographer picked up on her when she was just 12. She graduated from St Martins Gymnasium in Sundbyberg, Sweden in 2011 and the same year she won Elle Sweden's Model of the Year award.

Besides the numerous appearances in magazines and runway shows she's also walked in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012 and became the fourth most requested model of the spring 2010 season.

Her favourite model, maybe role model is Raquel Zimmermann but her very best friend is Monika Jagaciak, Polish model who can be seen on most of her wedding photos.

The 185 cm heigh model is really good at World of Warcraft - on her own admission. She rarely wears make-up on common days and she never travles without her Polaroid camera and notebook which is mostly filled with drawings.

She has taken part in several sewing courses and sometimes makes coats etc. for herself.

She's obsessed with vinyasa flow yoga and Pilates. The model cooks a lot of fish especially with vegetables and cauliflower mash and hates eating sandwiches. 

She loves rock music. Her favourite bands are The Velvet Underground, The Clash, The Ramones and Joy Division. 

Her favoutire fim is "Clockwork Orange" by Stanley Kubrick but she has already started her acting career as well.  She is staring in Swoon (2019),  and in Swedish TV series like: Arne Dahl: Efterskalv (2015) and Dröm (2019).

Frida married photographer Hjalmar Rechlin in 2015 but they divorced 3 years later.
