Melodie Monrose

Melodie was born and grew up on the island of Martinique which is in the eastern Caribbean Sea. Her mother is a teacher and has got a brother. As a child she was a quiet and very, very shy girl, a real bookworm. 

Before becoming a model Monrose dreamed of a career as a designer.
She got discovered at the age of 18 and soon found herself on the catwalk of the most influential designers like Michael Kors, Bottega Veneta, Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent etc. Melodie's claim to fame is appearance in Victoria's Secret Show.

Her favourite models are Noémie Lenoir and Coco Rocha, who was helping her with posing. Her favorite designer is John Galliano and she likes listening to Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.

She is a big fan of cinnamon rolls and chocolate cake. In her free time she likes hanging out with friends, seeing movies, going to restaurants.

"If I could meet anyone, dead or alive, I would meet Marilyn Monroe because she is the incarnation of femininity and glamor — a legend." - said in an interview in 2010.
